We had another good week on Blue Mesa Reservoir. Huge thank you to everyone who fished with us this week. The salmon fishing has been a challenge but by the end of the week we were producing some good results and sent clients home with bags of huge fillets. The key has been working deeper at 50-55 feet at first light and run through a few different style of lures. Caught some on lead line at 3-4 colors. They have been very color picky so when you find some fish cycle through different lures till you find one they are happy with.
Browns and rainbows are still biting out over the deep while salmon fishing but they seem to be at 30 feet and up. We are still catching some trophy lake trout. For booking a trip with us call or text Jerad at 970-640-9461
