Our guided ice fishing trips on Blue Mesa Reservoir have been going great. The trout fishing remains good for browns and rainbows. We have been catching fish in a lot of different areas of the lake with schools of rainbows moving through at 15-25ft. This week we were able to catch some Kokanee. They were at 17 ft suspended. The Kokanee were very picky so cycle through colors and lures till you find something they like.
The big lake trout are fat and happy and remain very picky but persistence can pay off huge.
