Crappie fishing on Crawford Reservoir

Today I took the kayak and scouted some big schools of crappie grouped up on Crawford Reservoir. Looks like it should be another great ice fishing season once we get ice. Saw only a couple small coves in the shallows that had a little ice. With cold temps all this week forecasted we will see if we get some ice out of it. Caught several crappie on some pklures and a few in some small tube jigs. Crappie were sitting at about 20-30 feet suspended and few schools were deeper. Tro

Kokanee salmon fishing on Blue Mesa Reservoir with Colorado Fishing Expeditions is going great with trolling being very productive. We are finding the older age class salmon. Right now the salmon are between 10 feet and 25 feet and later in the day they seem to be going deeper. We are still finding salmon all over the lake in 40+ feet of water.
