Our guided ice fishing trips on Blue Mesa Reservoir have been going great. The trout fishing remains good for browns and rainbows. We have been catching fish in a lot of different areas of the lake with schools of rainbows moving through at 15-25ft. This week we were able to catch some Kokanee. They were at 17 ft suspended. The Kokanee were very picky so cycle through colors and lures till you find something they like. The big lake trout are fat and happy and remain very pick

Kokanee Salmon were on top and were hit and miss but if we dropped down we were slamming the trout species. 31 fish went in the cooler for fish tacos for these guys.
